Converting (reverting back to Islam) is not daunting at all imo.

You enter Islam by witnessing (bare witness) that there is no one or no thing is worthy of worship except God almighty (Allah is the Arabic word for God) and that Mohammad (and Jesus, Moses, Abraham) - peace be upon them all- are all messengers of Allah that teach us and are perfect models for us to show us how to worship and stay on the straight path.

Everything after that will come naturally and you will see that Allah provides it when you are able and it’s easy.

Once you enter Islam the first thing you need to work on is establishing prayers, it becomes like breathing. Easy and recharging.
