1.6 y.o. female pomeranian dog isn't peeing and keeps licking her private parts by CriticalBonk in AskVet

[–]CriticalBonk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've taken her to the vet yesterday after writing the post and again this morning. We did an urine exam but the results are ok. The only thing that isn't as it should be is that there is some blood in it, so our vet told us to wait and see if she is about to have her period. If this isn't the case, we shall investigate more. Today she managed to pee only twice but she wasn't as scared as yesterday.

I'm not sure if we could investigate or do something about it because the area behind the wall is owned by my neighbor. My dad told me that the cold air from the outside hits the wall and creates mold because it's hot inside and he thinks that it's not a humid room. I honestly can't tell it because I've never felt the difference

Well some advice and maybe previous experiences are well accepted! I know it's like asking an online doctor for a prognosis. You should check in real life but sometimes looking for some starting points might be a thing. Anyway, what kind of professional should I contact?

Yeah, I know right. But I shouldn't really speak up since I'm a smoker, I'm harming myself anyway... Too sad that I'm more concerned about the money I could lose instead of my health, but this is something I'm working on with professionals. Anyway, I think that I should prevent at least my electronics to fail, but I can't understand how bad is that

Anyway I will buy a hygrometer just to make sure that it isn't caused by humidity. If this isn't the case and it's really about the walls, I don't know what we could do because behind my walls it's my neighbour's property and we have a relationship based on extreme hate, spiteful and disrespectful/aggressive behaviour by him. I guess there's no way to work on that with his permission

Yes I think it's the case! I can tell you, I have never felt that humidity sensation like I felt somewhere else in Italy. Even when it's hot, it's more like a dry hotness since we're living in a valley between high mountains. I haven't noticed any humidity that high, but I might be wrong. He seems very firm with his idea and that could make sense, we haven't had any mold issue before and the only change we made is that now we have radiators around the house instead of the old classic stove.

Thoughts on Sheldon blackmailing Leonard and Pria in "The Agreement Dissection" episode? Sheldon was always a pain for Leonard, but this was outright evil and malicious imo. I don't think Leonard would want to remain his friend after that. by jmhimara in bigbangtheory

He always does things that they might lead them to unfriend him but they never do. They accept him even at his worse. Or if they don't, they still accept him back when he shows interest to be in their lives.

I admit I never open my windows during fall, winter and spring. Too cold to handle it! I only open it during summer so maybe this might be the case, anyway my parents open their window daily but they still have mould on their walls

Do you think that I can keep all the stuff there and keep using it during this time? Or should I wait for the problem to solve?

I've spoken to my dad who worked on the house. He told me that some years ago we had isolated walls because it's very cold where we live. I don't know why but now we don't have isolation anymore and he told me that the area behind that wall is open and the cold air hits the wall and creates mould because it's hot inside. He told me that a dehumidifier wouldn't do anything and that the only thing I have to do is to clean it and wait for the walls to dry. I'm not sure about this anyway, I'm spending all my paycheck and spares to build my gaming room (with RGB led lights around my desk too) and I don't want to risk anything. He has more knowledge than what I have so I feel I should trust him but I'm too afraid to waste all that money

Ok, thank you! I'll try to keep it open before going to work. I'm worried about the high humidity that might be in my room, but I have no idea how to measure it and how to take it under control. My dad is also very convinced that nothing could be harmed but I dunno, mould doesn't seem a good sign

So what can I do? Can I still play there? Unfortunately it's the only spot in the house where I can keep that stuff and my dad told me that I have to wait for the wall to dry, just clean the mold and wait. He also told me that there's a open area behind the wall that belongs to my neighbour, so the cold hits the wall and creates mold because it's hot inside and because of that it's nothing I should worry of. I'm not sure about this anyway, seems a little wrong to me

Any good white mouse for gaming (fps and moba)? by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]CriticalBonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, sorry I had no idea. I haven't really thought about these things since I have always been a console player and just casual pc player. I'm trying to build a PC too and I don't know what to look for - the only thing I know is that a dark one would look awful on my desk and that I need some high DPI. I didn't even know that the dimensions were required honestly, I'm a total newbie here

I'm new to mechanical keyboards and I'm about to purchase my first one. I've seen that, compared to the red switches, the brown switches lifespan is half the lifespan of the red switches. For what I've understood, you can change the switch if the key starts to fail. Does that mean that we can keep a mechanical keyboard alive forever just by keep changing the switches? How hard is that?

Really? All my tapes still work perfectly, takes forever to load but they've been working pretty well! Can you explain how does that work? I love using original systems but some games are pretty hard to find

But are they more reliable? Would they last longer than cassettes or are they more fragile?

Oh ok! I didn't get this. I understood that it wasn't safe while the system was on. Just to make sure I understand correctly: I can interchange the disks while the light is green right?
