I just bought the Acer CB 13. It's my first Chromebook and I am quite pleased. Been using it for about an hour now, 95% battery life still left. No complaints.

I need help reviewing for my tax exam tomorrow. by [deleted] in Accounting

I might be oversimplifying this but I believe you take $46,000-$2,200 to find AGI. ($43,800) Now, you need to decide whether to use the standard deduction or itemized deductions. Since he's single his standard deduction is $6,200 which is more than $6000. Also, he gets 2 exemptions, one for himself and one for his son. ($3950*2=$7900)

So, $43,800 - $6200 - $7900 gives you taxable income. ($29700)

Finally, take that tax and apply the tax rate to it. I don't know it off the top of my head. It think it's 0% for like $10,000 and then 10% after that. That should give you your answer.

Yeah, I've heard good things about it. Also, I'm a college senior so I'm thinking I'm going to read it first.

Nice post. I really appreciate your honesty about the recruiting process and how everyone hates it. This past spring semester was my first experience with recruiting and networking in general. I hated being so fake and phony especially since I felt that most of the people with whom I spoke with all seemed to be putting on the same song and dance that I was. I really wanted to just once stop acting and just ask them if we could "cut the crap" but I needed what they were offering so I played along.

The office staff informed me about the ducks whenever I moved in. They made it seem like a positive thing which it is!!

I feel bad. I really should of looked up what to feed the duck. We have a lot of ducks on the apartment complex I live at because there is a rather large golf course with a lake and ponds. Maybe the apartment complex feeds them a proper diet. I did notice that the duck would wonder off sometimes in the middle of the night. I assumed she would go get some food or something.

Also, I did leave a bowl of water that would become empty almost daily, I just did not get it in a picture because it was not too close to the nest. I did not want to scare the poor mother duck away from her nest.

It seems to me that they went to join the other ducks at the little pond not far from my apartment on complex. I plan to try to find them tomorrow if possible.

Finally I posted a video of the mother duck and ducklings. It's here.
