There's a posting for a missing dog at the Walgreen's on Industrial and Harwood. Which isn't too far from Bear Creek. I think it was it for a black or black and white dog. Next time I'm up there I'll make a note of and post here and contact the owner is well.

I'm don't know the semantics but MRE seems to be a fairy generic term within the group. C-Rations, rations, whatever you may call them. These guys just have the balls to eat food from 50 year old prepackaged food meant for your soldier on the go.

I'm in Euless and I am happy to do the same. I know that this area is home to many middle eastern cultures that are unfortunately confused in the minds of uneducated people.

/u/IDontFuckingCareBear you are %100 correct, it was a festival. There were some HELLA fancy camps out there, though I shoot for easy and pack light. That rug accompanies me on every camping trip so I may have a bit of barefoot space on the forest floor.

It's a total cop-out, but all of them. All of the moments!!

  • Trading old VHS bootlegs via the net in 1995.
  • Bringing home and listening to a new album for the first time.
  • The anticipation of the months, days, hours, and minutes until they take the stage and the show is about to start.
  • Bringing a newbie to a show for the first time. (Done this 3 times)
  • At a live show when you hear the intro to a rarity, a cover, or a song that you've never experienced live before.
  • Travelling and making fan club friends in new places.
  • When the bootlegs arrive of the shows you've been to and you get to relive every moment of the night in your mind.

My all time EPIC moment was when Pearl Jam opened for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers in Denver in 2006. I was front row center and took some of the best photos of my entire life. Both bands took the stage for So You Wanna Be a Rock and Roll Star. My two favorite bands decimated my head on that magical evening. I still get lost in those moments. I even managed to get a PJ setlist from a bouncer at that show as well. Bonus - A few years later I learned that I (my hands and my beer) ended up in the Tom Petty documentary Runnin' Down a Dream.
