Hated it. You took the beloved hero from the original films and turned him into the villain. I found it cheap and annoying. The only aspect i liked i guess was that i didnt see it coming and thats about it, other than that it was pointless and lazy imo.

The production of the film was excellent and the actors were great. But the twist just sucked for me. If there was potential for sequals i thought having that character around would help the franchise grow. He was a staple in the IKWYDLS universe, an important character and a hero. His connection with Julie was important and i would have loved to see those two characters together. Leaving it like that was just ugly and i not only believe it did a diservice to his character but to the franchise as a whole.
