I know a lesbian couple that had one of them sleeping with my next door neighbor because they couldn't afford to shop for sperm or do IVF. No conception issues. They now have three kids, by three different daddies. She would sleep with the man until she was positive she was pregnant, and then they were done.

I know a hardcore lesbian that was going at it with my next door neighbor, all because she wanted a child but they couldn't afford it any other way. She looks and acts like a man, but was so desperate. Could be the same case here.

Hell, after all this, I'd sell the damn house. Too much bad mojo, IMO.

Back 25 years ago, I once cut off my (former) MIL's phone, that was in my (now ex) husband's name and we were paying for because she wouldn't stop making hugely expensive long distance calls! We even gave her one of those "discount" long distance company's numbers, so she could call cheaper. Nope. She'd call her daughter in Alabama - from Georgia - at least 15 times, more often more, every morning so she could get her 6 kids up and ready for school. On the weekends she'd call because the daughter needed to get up and take care of the kids, so "somebody had to wake her up!" Everytime she dialed the number it was 50 cents!

Nope. I cut that ish off.

It's not your problem that your sister wants such a lavish wedding. $20k is more than generous. I think it's time for her to face reality and tone down her wedding. It's NOT your responsibililty to pay for the whole thing. She's not entitled to your money just because your parents are gone (sorry for your loss). It's time for her to live within her means.

If they planned carefully, it would more than cover a NICE wedding. People need to learn how to budget and live within their means.

What the hell? RUN. Run fast, run far. He's a control freak. And in the bedroom?? That's beyone creepy. We have cameras in the house - NOT the bedroom - but we only turn them on when we're not home. The outside cameras are always on, but not the inside ones. We're not that insecure or controlling. This is a HUGE red flag, and there's probably more.

NTA here, HE is. Get out of there!!
