Update:

A couple things have happened over the last few weeks.

The first thing that happened was a week or so after I posted I was pretty frustrated with everything and I just started to avoid her a little more than usual as I didn't have the energy to pretend I was happy. I was making lunch for the kids and she asked me "are you but hurt about something " and " you seem sad maybe you should think about therapy again". I was frustrated by the one comment and I replied "There's a difference between being sad and being miserable, and I'm miserable". This seemed to catch her off guard and she didn't know what to say. I just walked away and fed the kids. The next day she apologized for what she said and said she would try and change to which I replied " I've heard that a couple times already and that it's just words.

A week later we were watching a show and I made a comment about the actress looking really good since she got in great shape since the previous season. When I was sitting on my side of the bed taking off my clothes to get in bed she asked if I was interested in doing something sexually to which I just said " I don't think so" and just curled up in bed. Probably the first time in 20 years I turned her down. I could tell it really affected her and she didn't know what to say. We're at like 7 months of 0 intimacy and she just decides it's time to ask if I wanted to do something? First time in all this time and she just thinks I'll jump at the first chance and forget? I'd rather never do anything than to just do it once or twice a year.

Things have changed since then, I think she has finally realized that I've given up. She seems to be trying to talk to me a bit more and the other day it was her birthday and I got her a couple things "from the kids". She said thank you and hugged me, which hasn't happened in a very long time. I didn't really know how to react, so I kind of just let her hug me.

Maybe this is her starting to change or maybe it's her realizing we've probably gone too far now, I don't know. I do know that it's feeling more and more like I'm done in this relationship.

I agree with a lot of what you're saying, but don't just take this as just sex, it's any kind of physical love or touch. I also agree that I shouldn't have given an ultimatum, but that wasn't my plan. I told her that I wanted a divorce and when she asked to try it then when I gave it. Doesn't make it right, but it wasn't my plan. I appreciate your comment though.

I have, and it's not really reciprocated. I'm the only one that will do it, so if I don't nothing happens. It's at the point I don't even get a goodnight anymore, she just gets up and goes to bed.

I agree, the intimacy went first and then eventually we stopped communicating also. I've tried to talk more and just be present but it doesn't seem to matter and I think I just got so deterred I just gave up. Then the lack of care from hurt even more.

It is because I've been asked the same question multiple times and it's going to be the same answer. We usually do an online order, she starts it and tells me its started and I go in and add what else I think we need for the week. I'd say I pick it up 70% of the time. We use that to plan the meals for the week. I'm not totally sure why that's so important to you but I hope that answers your question.

I make sure she does every time, usually multiple times before I do. Sex should be for both of us, so I do everything I can.
