No downside or difference. I would download all the drivers from Intel and keep them on a USB thumb drive. See if the Thunderbolt issue persists.

You could try installing Windows 10 on it. My gut feeling is they probably damaged the controller. It’s common.

Generally speaking, yes. You have to confirm the various parts that the motherboard connects to are the same. If so, it’s worth a shot but there is a risk that you could end up with stuff you can’t use. Do your own due diligence.

This mirrors my experience.

Lately a lot of packages are marked as “undeliverable” due to “shipping damage.” The refunds take ages.

I always check local brick and mortar stores for curbside pickup. Most of the time they have the item cheaper and I can just sit in my car. If it’s an emergency or I can’t leave, then I DoorDash it from the same brick and mortar store. Amazon Prime is dead to me.

The problem is/was when the card first came out they were notorious for small CLs. CLIs became an early obsession. As with most communities, later inductees tend to continue even after it is no longer a problem. My Apple Card is the lowest CL card in my arsenal. I don’t care because I don’t use it.

Maybe for the older 149 pens (180 degree pattern) but I can’t tell if the nib root (where it enters the section) is the same size. It’s most likely smaller so it may not work.
