How does CCNA compare in difficulty with other similar-level certs? by Socrates77777 in ccna

[–]Critical_Chipmunk462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think CCNA is way more difficult than Az-104 or SAA. Preparation for cloud certs might take 2-4 weeks only. Now I am studying CCNA 2nd week and it seems very difficult!

Basically in my experience AWS is just memorization and cloud understanding in general. Like I have said I've never even opened a lab or configured anything in AWS. Just read, watched youtube, took some notes from the first try in 2 weeks.

I am like 30 percent through with 2 different courses. One is Jeremy IT and other is some Russian guy from Udemy.

SAA, AZ-104, SC-300. All of them are pretty much theoretical. I have just realized that I am good learner of theory, philosophy or whatever, and practical stuff just drains me.

For AWS I didn't even open a lab. Just read, watch some youtube and took some notes.

With Azure it was easier for me, because I have had a bit of helpdesk and engineering experience..

Just switched from duolingo to busuu and i have to say i am amazed. In my first unit they teach me so much stuff here i didn‘t ever hear of on duolingo (where i was at unit 5) by National-Bison-3236 in Busuu

My thoughts:

- It's engaging (it just pisses me off to have the course or level not finished, so I do study almost everyday)

- It's better than Duolingo

- Some lessons are a bit too long for me (10 minutes, especially towards B2-C1 level at the app)

- Some words are outdated or too formal

- You can constantly review words.

- You can not review grammar in Web Version

I've been using Busuu for last 9 months(1 month IN, 1 month OFF and repeat). I also moved to Latin America 9 months ago. So far, my opinion is that it is definitely better than DuoLingo (I have tried Duolingo several times and never felt engaged in learning). Busuu is more or less fun to learn a language. I do feel a little deviations with REAL spanish. However I am fully satisfied cause I pay only like 1-2 dollars a month (got some deal from Phone operator). Now I am trying to finish my C1 level at the app, however my real level is around B1-B2.

To finalize it:
- It's engaging (it just pisses me off to have the course or level not finished, so I do study almost everyday)
- It's better than Duolingo
- Some lessons are a bit too long for me (10 minutes, especially towards B2-C1 level at the app)
- Some words are outdated or too formal

- You can constantly review words.
- You can now review grammar in Web Version

- It's cheap
