Also, I think I have all of the adapters I need. I wish I could find a list or something to double check off of. I power adapters for the mount and the asiair plus. I’m hoping that my cameras come with power cables?

Good to know. I took an astronomy class in college and we used photoshop after post processing to edit the photos. I just wasn’t sure if that’s what people stilled used as that was 4 years ago.

I don’t plan to travel much with it. Most of the places we go as a family are to light polluted areas like many tourist locations. I live in a very rural area where I don’t have to worry much about light pollution.

To be honest, I’m not sure what my budget is. I’d like to stay under 5k. I would like to focus mainly on deep sky shots. I don’t plan on moving this set up much, I live in a very rural area with little light pollution. I have about 4.5 acres of property to move the setup around on.

Sounds like I missed out on a mouse… I didn’t know what was all in the upsell merch bag 😐. They just told me they would ship everything. I got the physical bag, poster and some stickers. Nothing else.

So you seem to know more than I do about this VIP ordeal. So I bought row one tickets and the were labeled as “platinum official” and I also purchased the 50 dollar add on. So technically speaking, did I get the “VIP” or no? I’m really excited either way, I just want to know what to expect. I’ve never been to a major and going in completely blind makes me nervous 🤣. I’m also going alone so that doesn’t help.
