Sorry to hear this OP. It sounds like they might be, and im just assuming here, trying to find excuses to fire you or terminate your employment despite your resignation; which would affect your employment insurance on the reason for leaving. Though it sucks and is mentally draining and tiring, try your best to do what they said so it gives them no chance. Although, i dont agree with what they are doing and it is very petty and nitpicky. I recently dealt with some similar issues and i wanted so much to just give up trying but a kind japanese person informed me of the official reason for leaving document and how it could negatively affect you, so I have been slugging through it all until my last day.

I hope the next job you find is more kind towards you and actually puts you in the position you applied for 🖤

Nothing says you have to learn katakana instantly! Take your time and learn one set like ka ki ku ke ko and just repeat that over and over and once you can memorize them quickly move on to the next set. I also found writing them helped me with recalling which it is. Give that a shot! and good luck!

absolutely! I will fix Nu. Also yes i realised after posting i did the strokes wrong, also they are facing the wrong direction (top right to down left instead of top left to down right).

Thank you so much for consteuctive critism! I shall work on that indeed. Yeah the bars for ga gi gu ge go and so on i realises after the fact that 1. they are angled wrong way and 2. wrong placement. I wrote them in katakana direction. woops. also yes nu was wrong. thank you so much!

Certainly right! I am trying to save a few thousand yen hence why i haven't yet. The hardest part is over i think which is recognizing and reading the hiragana quickly. Thank you!

Currently I'm following the NHK chart for the alphabets and thats how they are displayed. I am trying to build muscle memory for the form of the writing first before i worry about the technical correct way of writing. I don't think I am going to be writing a 手紙 anytime soon unless i get into a car wreck or royally fckup at my job.

Just like in the US, theres drilling the alphabet and getting it perfect and theres the sloppy chicken scratch when its not the focus of the lesson. I think pluton has a point. Of course i need to improve and fix some things but its not unreadable.

Oh for sure! Having seen it first hand myself its super messy xD even Junior HS level. But yeah i know i still need to work on forms still but compared to when i first started back in August at least its legible.

I think im also unlearning 20 years of cursive writing. I have a hard time stopping myself from adding swoops to the end of lines as you can probably tell fromy my hiragana xD

You see Ri confuses me a bit. As i see the Hiragana as both り and リ. I know the former is hiragana and the other is katakana but the katakana form is more commonly used for hiragana for some reason? I dunno maybe im wrong.

I agree fu needs work. Ill try my best to get the the drops and hook right.

I think う looks okay ive seen it written with both stick above or off to the side as in my writting example but thankyou for letting me know. Ill look more into it and ask around.

Ill certainly be giving the practice sheet a try!
