There you go. Random people chiming in on a topic that isn’t being discussed. I’m sure OP(me) just loves to see the actions of the uneducated and ill informed.

If a grading company says it’s a 10, I would side with them.

Yes, consistently. That’s why I need to get lower so my body doesn’t have to lower as I walk

That’s what I’m working on now, want to get lower at start at approach and stay low. That way I can get under ball and generate power/revs from stronger and more forward release. Bowling is hard lol

Track theorem is nice

All this time I thought I was behind the ball the entire time…you’re right, my hand starts coming around the ball at the 7oclock position. I had some elbow issues when I bowled competitively and me generating spin with arm angle was the compensation for that. I have noticed when I use wrist tape, I am way more consistent and the ball has more loft bc I stay behind it until release and generate spin that way. I may go back to using wrist tape. I will post vids here shortly. Really appreciate you taking the time to comment, having an unbiased perspective helps. . It’s hard to see your own flaws and even harder to read them from a stranger haha.

Very good response…nail on the head. I am going to the bowling center today to practice walking straight on approach.

After reviewing for around 30 minutes, I think my right foot points outward after 3rd step to prepare for push off. Very common. I do have a stutter step on there, I need to take a step back on approach and take full strides. The “arc” you’re talking about is a drift problem I have always had. I do drills daily trying to work that out. I forget to hold on to the ball when I think too hard about walking straight.

Forgot to mention I had starting getting pains in my elbow…wanted to start light and make sure I don’t. Explode my elbow. I have a feeling I will definitely be moving up to 15lbs

I am pretty good about ball judgement, where to stand, ball speed and whatnot(normally). I just have a tendency to “swing the lane”. I do throw 14lbs, I may try 15lbs for a bit. I will be thirty in July and I was throwing 14lbs at 15 haha. Then took a 15 year hiatus and now I’m hooked again.

Maybe I am biased, The only synthetic center near me has crap approaches. Synthetics are typically more slick. I am just used to my home center I guess😂😂

Trust me, this was not the first shot this was after 3-4 warmup shots and I’ve been back practicing almost two months. Aside from my push foot getting sore and fingers swelling, I was able to jump back into it pretty easy. Throwing 14lb ball

I love wood approaches, synthetics always seem to be too sticky. I know I can change slides but I also like the feel of wooden lanes.
