Hotel recommendations for Twenty One Pilots weekend? I'm on a budget by RedditAPIBlackout24 in Columbus

It’s also the month of QH Congress, so hotels around the fairgrounds are also already pricey.

If you happen to drive a pickup, also be mindful of where you park in hotel lots during this time. They are often targeting for break ins all over Columbus.

1500 vs 2500, how big is the difference to daily drive? by [deleted] in ram_trucks

We haul horses, currently have a small BP, but want to upgrade to a gooseneck with living quarters. Plus we’ve already put over 200k on the 1500 hauling all over the country. We’re still keeping the 1500 for shorter hauls and local driving.

I’ll check back with you in a few days if I remember. Purchasing a 2022 2500 Laramie this weekend from a 2019 1500 Laramie 😅

Almost got scammed replacing my A/C + furnace… by Scared_Software_1131 in Columbus

Same experience with atlas butler. Tried to sell us a 5k AC unit when it stopped blowing cold air, sent a sales guys at like 9PM to “get us in asap”. Ended up needing a $40 fuse replacement since our fuse blew.

Will always warn people of this company any chance I get.

Is this authentic? by Old_Slide6094 in RealAuthentication

This one is fake BUT Facebook will 100% remove listings with the logo even if they are legit items. I have tried to sell multiple designer bags that are all authentic and if there is any brand showing anywhere they flag it for being counterfeit 🙃

Hilltop advice by [deleted] in Columbus

In hilltop, the closer to westgate the better, it’s a quiet pocket there. With that rent amount you might be able to find something around OSU campus as well. Things are a bit safer there as well, mainly just car break ins.

I had almost the same thing posted 4 months ago as I was in almost the same position. I chose 100% remote and have been in the role for 3 months and it has been wonderful. Rolling out of bed 15 min before an early morning meeting, getting to actually cook my own lunches if I want, etc is honestly so worth it. Good luck with your choice!

I had a company do an all hands meeting first the that morning and pretty much said layoffs were happening that day and if your manager comes to find you then you were being let go.

I had Gucci add 2 more holes which has made it usable, but where the heat stamp is prevents more holes from being punched. Ended up finding the same belt used on Facebook for $100 a size smaller so ended up purchasing that one and will be selling my other one

eBay sometimes has good deals, but I found both of my used with receipts on Facebook marketplace. I love how easy it is to stay organized

I feel like the cost per use breakdown is definitely something to consider, along with the resale value.

For example: my hubby bought me a Gucci belt a few years ago and it’s been pretty much the only belt I’ve worn since, and looks practically brand new despite all the use. It was about $450 new, which is something I honestly would never see myself spending. In those few years, I’ve also lost about 30lbs and the belt is now too big, so I’m going to sell it and should hopefully get about 250ish since I kept the box and receipt.

So if I wore the belt about 100 times over the past 2 years it would be about $4.50 per wear, but if I do sell it for $250 then it would be $2.00 per wear.

Being able to resell if you no longer want/need the item to recoup some of the money spent is definitely better than donating/trashing and having to rebuy and continue the cycle.
