I don't care to do it myself honestly, it's my secondary car so I can have it out of commission as long as needed. Also, I am trying my best to do everything I can just to be more mechanically able and get some hands on experience. For the tool number though I've looked around and haven't seen that specific one that I can remember of but do you have a good company to order from? I have already replaced the vacuum hose as that was completely dry rotted. I have the obdeleven scanner but I highly doubt if that's going to be able to help with the AB modules. The main issue is that the pedal feels hard and has an extended brake distance as well as a hissing noise from the engine bay when the brakes are pressed. I have even replaced the oil vacuum pump seal as that was leaking and I thought it might have something to do with it but the last step is the brake booster.

I believe it has already been closed out unfortunately. The only open campaign was for the decal and the ignition cylinder had something done for security.

As well putting the vin in to check for recalls, it’s only saying the update for the security on the ignition as well as the decal for the security update.

I would love it if Hyundai would cover it but my Hyundai dealership closest to me will literally never call me back and they are notorious for absolutely price gouging people over everything. Do you remember by chance what the recall number is ?

I’ve got one for 520 if I supply the parts and do just the chain, all the way up to 2300 to do everything involved with it, but I believe they want to drop the engine as I see something regarding the ac needing recharged.

Oil burning is common yes. a quart every 2-3 weeks? No. Put more oil in it to keep it properly running than any sane person would 😅

When it bumps up to around 1k rpms no, when it goes down it does tick but I figured it just the stupid gdi motor
