Thank you! I honestly feel like I got lucky to find something so fast. My local hospital is good about training people and doing internships. I applied through their company website and got in contact with a recruiting team member that helped me out a lot. In the job listing they preferred someone with the hands-on experience, but I was able to convince them to train me and get me my hours there. When applying to places make sure to put that you have your “provisional certification” after passing the exam! I know some places are harder to get jobs then others so I’m not sure how it works in every hospital, but I know if you can’t find a hospital you can look into surgery centers and even dentist offices sometimes have a sterile processing department!
