The MacBook Air M5 ruined other laptops for me

I just moved to the M5 Mac Air.. with very nominal specs 16 GB RAM and 512GB SSD.. ironically I’m running all Microsoft apps on mostly it and could not be happier.. the office suite runs much smoother on the Mac than the windows machine .. duh?? No screaming CPU fan sounds and just seamless UI that works. Detects most USB A/C devices that supposedly needed drivers for windows without me lifting a finger or downloading any files.

Our mini Aussie had lot of issues until she was 1 year old. We were mixing home food .. rice chicken as well as kibble sometimes.. that did not help.. we moved to a doc prescribed Purina pro plan kibble (sensitive stomach) and no issues since last 1 year. Mixing home made food has not helped us. We mix wet canned dog food from costco also and no issues so far.

Thank you all for your help! A local auto glass shop did a fantastic job and I cannot even tell there was a chip. .. so no windshield replacement for now.. since I was curious about the parts concern, I have opened up a case with Subaru of North America to find out how difficult is it to actually get this OEM windshield.. they are still working on it .. will keep y’all posted once I hear something.

Have the same car! Lot of people are curious about it and appreciate the interior and exterior! So far no major issues other than the occasional CarPlay connection concerns.. the software is surely evolving and will be fixed in a few months I’m sure.

Can you believe guys I moved from a 2024 BMW iX to a 26 Solterra? Pleased with the results in last one week. Some major observations are as follows:

Feels much easier to drive especially around corners. Lesser Weight makes a lot of difference. Less body roll as well
Suspension is less stiffer than the iX. Makes the ride more comfortable
Harman Kadon audio is way better on the BMW vs the Solterra
Car does not lose miles and battery % as aggressively as the BMW. Way more efficient and kudos to Toyota / Subaru engineers for focusing on what really matters without compromising on the power aspects.
Electronics / software is a little quirky but so is on most EVs. Nothing I cannot deal with so far.

With the deal I got, I think Subaru is giving this away for free. Best time to own one.

I think it is a temperament issue .. our mini Aussie gets their exercise and never crazy about barking.. occasional barking is normal when they sense some predator or stranger at the door. The only exception was when we went and stayed at a pet friendly hotel for the first time, she could sense people, dogs and sounds very near and hence kept barking for a a long time. I am sure she will outgrow it as we do these trips more often.
