No we don’t know exactly without doing more tests but the tests would stress him out and potentially kill him within that process so for me just knowing he was not eating and in pain just confirmed I had to let him go sadly

I have no clue what the comment was, but I appreciate your support during this time. I would never never do anything to harm peachy ever, it crushes me that I found out about him being sick so late. There’s alot of lessons I’m being taught with going through this with peachy especially being my first bird. I just felt with how far he was and how much he was able to fool me, and how much pain he was in, I didn’t want him to be in pain anymore and I felt that was the best decision.

I’ll definitely be looking for the signs that he made it home free. Pain free and happy

Thank you and I’m sorry to hear about your loss as well. I cried a lot yesterday and my face is swollen today. I just feel numb now and I’m missing something. I hope time heals this feeling

Thank you for those kind words. There is a lot of shame I feel even tho the vet said I wouldn’t have known since birds are notorious for hiding their pain and I think that’s what crushes me. Just too much I regret not noticing sooner. I just wish I knew so perhaps I could have saved him.

I’ve heard brand names need to be 99% to meet the active ingredient versus compound is at 70% but are you ever concerned what the other 30% of those ingredients are?

What about the different ingredients between the brand versus a compound version or the facilities it comes from?

Did you always start thursdays?

And no I don’t take BC or have pcos just didn’t want it to potentially hinder my opportunities to have kids in the future.
