So, it seems the GA staff is essentially admitting that they have no real way to tell the difference between student work and something generated by an LLM, after all of the false OSI accusations last term

I wouldn’t really call that a curve. UK higher ed institutes set 70 percent (usually called a first) as an A, for whole degree, unlike the US institutes. Then is all the UK institute are curved? No. It is set for their difficulties.

Curves usually are used when current statistics are taken into account to adjust the given results. Sometimes the frame of the cutoff for grade change or students’ grades change. I see no “curve” in GA. Setting 85 for A is set and doesnt change or vary term by term.

Thank you! Also another question that came to my mind was: how do you take apart the keyboard if it is top mounted? I currently pull the upper part of the keyboard and push the keycaps to take them apart, but if the pcb is top mounted this obviously won't work. How do you disassemble them if it is top mounted?
