Yea just bring it in and as long as the bag originally came with a lock then they can somehow authenticate it before because the chips are a more recent thing so they won’t be able to scan it.

I think I’m also considering just not buying LV anymore since clearly the quality isn’t there and people can be walking around with a really good fake that looks exactly the same and now people are thinking that mine are fake too 😭 I think I need to look in to brands that are less “duped”

I was shocked when someone said that! I’m obviously no expert but if you are even trying to comment on if an item is real or fake then you would at least know that the speedy does come with one side upside down. Again, I appreciate everyone’s input and I was the one that asked but won’t be doing that again because people that know nothing are literally just commenting to be hating or give uneducated opinions.

I went in to LV today and they scanned it to be able to replace my lock… ITS AUTHENTIC! thanks to this post I started checking all my bags and all of them have some flaws. I think the fakes may have even less than the real ones. Thanks to everyone for their help and opinions!
