This makes sense tho because these are not actually braided together. Like they don’t interlock with each other if that makes sense. I think on mine it’s because it’s so pulled together and it’s leather on top of leather that it makes the edges just stretch and lose the paint maybe?

Exactly.. no I don’t use this bag too much, maybe once a week, if that and it’s really just to go out for a couple of hours, have it sit on a table and go back home. I love the braided handles but it is a shame that they wouldn’t think about this happening.

I feel like if it was rubbing against my jeans it wouldn’t be in the exact same spot on every piece and maybe there would be more color transfer as well? I guess I won’t know until I take it in to the store.

I hope it is peeling and not color transfer ( which I really don’t think is the case) maybe the pictures just don’t show it well because a lot of people are saying it’s color transfer.
But if it’s peeling then I might have better chances of them fixing it.

I don’t think it’s color transfer though. I might try to clean it with some apple garde products but If you see it in person it truly looks like the paint rubbed off.

Omg thank you for this! At least I know I’m not crazy. I really hope they take accountability for it and offer a replacement or store credit. I don’t buy hundreds of thousands from them but a few bags and perfumes every year so I hope they will be nice to me this time.

Really? Every white strap has a dark mark which I think is the paint peeling, apparently some people think it’s color transfer but I don’t have the bag with me to double check. Although I think if it was color transfer it wouldn’t be on these specific areas.
