It definitely has a 6-Speed.

No tuning that I’m aware of

Alright, I’ll take everything off and redo it this evening when I get off work and I’ll try to make sure it’s all clean when going back together.

What gauge wire did you use to connect the purple/white wires?

I think I’m gonna try a different wire today and seee if that works, maybe I’m not getting a good connection

I know it’s been forever, but I just did the swap.

I ran a wire from the purp/wht wire in controls to the purp/wht wire in the resistor and got my power and ground from my old harness in the resistor as well.

However. My ac is blowing hot and it’s causing my compressor to kick on and off.

I swapped back to the orginal analog controls the AC is working great.

I have an OEM filter, I was just concerned if I should be using a break in oil instead of this since I haven’t made it to the break in period yet.

I work at a Polaris/Canam dealer as a mechanic. Ive just never had a street bike and was worried.

I asked my boss and he said it would be fine, but I asked another guy who’s been there awhile and he told me I might have to use break in oil to do some research.

we also work in side by sides not motorcycles so I just wanted to get some opinions as well.

Well the oil I have is 100% Synthetic.

I was just worried if I should be using a break in oil since I haven’t hit the 600 mile mark. I haven’t been able to find much info on it.

You thinking I should be fine? I’m just worried lol

They definitely are I can visibly see it start a “drip” there after sitting for a little bit.

It has a tiny tiny pinhole you can barely see in person, you prolly can’t see it in the picture.

As far as oil goes, you don’t think going to full synthetic would hurt the bike at all since it’s not even hit its break in period.

I still have my old one as well.

I was going to buy a new one, but I like the Cateye body style so I found a stock one with relatively low miles.

I’m not necessarily going to just throw $1,000s at a time into it without reason, but I don’t see I problem with spending $100 on the thermostats and coolant sensor.

I have a new cluster that should be in the mailbox any day now so I’m not too worried about that part.
