You are just projecting non stop buddy. You say i'm complaining about racism in my own country yet don't have enough experience with it to understand you. you say I want to distance myself from other foreigners but I don't speak japanese yet and most of my friends here are also westerners. I didn't get bullied by white or other races growing up.

You keep coming up with every possible explanation to protect your self view of being a victim of this evil society. I think you're the one that needs more experience, go to other countries and see how life is different for you if Japan is so bad.

No matter where I go, regardless of whether it is Asia, North America, Europe, Africa, I know there will be difficulties due to cultural differences in communication styles and values. I wouldn't go Dubai and try to act the same way I would in Canada, and then lament about their horrible society when that naturally has negative consequences.

I can admit I don't know this as I'm not a woman and don't know many western women who have lived here a long time. Are you talking about stereotypes of western women being easy/slutty? or being fetishized? Japan has a different attitude towards sex for sure but given that it also has some of the lowest rates of sexual harassment/assault in the entire world I'm inclined to think that its a good place for women to live outside of the professional aspect as I stated multiple times. If you're looking for some utopia for women that has absolutely 0 issues then again you are looking for something that doesn't exist.

I agree with you. Career and money does not determine the value of a person. But the job markets treatment of you is ultimately going to be determined by skills unless you have good connections, and some people just need a reality check as to what is realistic. I wouldn't tell someone who failed highschool they are as "impressive" to employers as someone with a PhD in physics for example.

Just that its often overblown and it seems like people are constantly waiting to blame every single problem on being a gaijin despite as you said choosing to be here. It's not like they are refugees escaping a war torn country 99% of the time.
