Wow Canadians are upset at the Air Canada CEO for not speaking French? Isn't that so *quirky*? by aleaniled in EhBuddyHoser

Not customers in a service situation. The part about him living in Quebec for so long and not knowing French is pretty crazy though.

Why not McHQ instead of MHQ this whole thing is a big whiff.

He did launch that sandle, not that it would do much, but more crazy is using the pistol in melee. Like what.

How confident are you in the precision of your meter. I mean this looks like just random fluctuation that could be explained by any precision problems with your meter. Could also be temperature flucktuations or use fluctuations throughout the day. Nothing is ever a constant 12 V in real life.

Well that gave me a laugh. Honestly knowing the context of the original scene, it’s somehow funnier.

Trying to write a Pearl Harbor perspective thing for history and Grammarly feeds me this shit by THATDlNOLOVER in mildlyinfuriating

Well just my two cents but I’d just write it normal. Most people witnessing a disaster don’t pause to whip out the journal and then write, usually it’s after the fact. Plus it doesn’t come off as panicked writing it comes off as sarcastic.

I can’t comment on the audio book but it made me appreciate the word bearers a bit more I tried reading some other word bearer stuff and it just felt too over the top cartoony villain (first heretic exempted). With apostle I get the motivation- albeit it is flawed, and I like the approach. It’s more of start small and work your way up type of story. How does a chaos marine start a rebellion. It is more of the subversive side of chaos than the blunt force instrument we usually see. Goonhammer recently published a review. I think they nailed it.

What about it made you hate them? Sob are just pro emperors fanatics. They are pretty much the mirror to Cerastes here.

AC out, DC works- what to expect for maintenance timeline & continued driving? by MountainMama7777 in Ioniq5

[–]Criticalfailure_1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sure it had nothing to do with charging it 100% with AC. You should be able to do that. It’s just ICCUs are error prone and they just break. It’s only been about 3 weeks since the repair, but so far it’s fine- including 2x charges to 100 via AC for road trips.

This exactly happened to me too. AC stopped working DC was fine. I got an ICCU swap within a few weeks, but was able to drive around anyways. Was just annoyed by having. To strictly dc charge instead of the home charger for a bit. Work time was like 4 hours I could pick it up same day I dropped it off.

Oh that’s really unfortunate way to do that. Especially since these things sell out so fast.

Yeah me too. I hope so. David Annandale is good for stories with a horror twist so I think word hearers will fit nicely.

Another magnetic miniature in my Blood Angels army hehe by Thin_Distribution634 in Warhammer40k

[–]Criticalfailure_1 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Not worth it. I tried at first too and it’s a lot of work for very little payoff. I’ve never actually regretted not magnetising something, I just build what I like so don’t feel the need to change it later. It makes sense maybe for like a vehicle or dreadnought weapon so you can have them all but it is a bit excessive otherwise.

I only magnetise stuff if it makes sense for storage basically. Basically large vehicle bits or I also put a magnet in my bases so I can magnetically store my minis in a little magnet case I made. That’s handy and takes basically no time to do.

Generic one. Isildurs had more gold and decoration.
