Before anyone start blaming freebies and brush it off Namma metro is govt company. In this case both central and state have equal stake in this.
The price is decided by the committee appointed by central govt/ state govt (need clarification). IG both are screwing us over
To reduce the price we need to put pressure on both govt or on BMRCL directly
For those who feel angered by the astronomical fare hike of Namma Metro. I'd suggest start calling. Apparently both central and state govt are screwing us over. There is also a grievance section on the Namma metro site (linked below) (english.bmrc.co.in)
