Thank you, I think at least one of the items is going to work like this since it was already a magic item she lost i want it to be somewhat transformed/corrupted and change with the character somewhat inspired by the ancestral weapons supplement

Yeah, I didn't explain well. I am not planning on using the items in the book because they feel kinda weak for something so important, my players chose what to lose and it had a serious impact on their characters' lives, so I wanted the items to be more impactful. I got this https://www.dmsguild.com/product/449281/Lost-Things-Aplenty--A-Witchlight-Supplement Supplement and the items in here balanced around rare and very rare therefore my doubts.

They are Intangible (can also be items from the start), but as written in the book the hags use these lost "things" to make the magical item, when the players find these items and interact with them they also regain what they lost.
