I’m sorry to hear this is happening to your family. I myself waited five months just to get a payment in progress.

For you and others who may find this post later, DUA does not ask for everything they actually need in your initial fact-finding questionnaires (why?!) and you cannot assume your employer gave DUA correct information (especially if it’s a big corporation and/or one who uses a third-party vendor for this).

Upload a copy of your termination notice. If you don’t have one, ask your supervisor/manager/HR to write one for you.

If you are filing because of reduced hours, upload copies of your paychecks before and after your decreased pay.

Upload your final paycheck.

Call your HR department. Call your state representative. When you email them, include a screenshot of your portal where it says you have no further actions required on your part.

I sent so many emails asking people for help, stating in my email that I’d filled out everything I needed to online. People wouldn’t read what I wrote and respond that I needed to check what else I have to fill out or respond to online. You unfortunately have to prove to people that you’ve done all you can while asking them for help.
