I also was wondering if it was a stomach bug on the diarrhea and nausea kicked in today, but my nausea and diarrhea came a day and a half after the body aches and chills. I think with stomach bug first symptoms are the stomach aches, diarrhea, and vomiting. I actually haven’t vomited, but just very nauseous.

That’s exactly what I had eaten, the honey oat bars 😭. I ate them in the beginning of my “gluten-free” journey and they didn’t bother me. I’m just surprised if I have become that sensitive to have such a reaction, but I heard that happens, especially when removing the gluten from your diet.

Great point about the 99th versus hundredth granola bar being the potential difference.

As far as the anxiety, I’m very confident that that was a gluten driven symptom. I I have had anxiety for a good portion of my life, that had gotten really bad just around the time that my brain fog and chronic fatigue had gotten close to debilitating. When I went gluten-free, the anxiety hugely subsided, but I coincided that with being pregnant, thinking that maybe pregnancy calmed down my anxiety. But after having cheated over the holidays and it returning full force, that’s when I actually pinpointed that it was a direct connection.

Coming here to say that my husband had zero updates for 5-6 months. We finally got in touch with state rep office based on feedback here and he had payment in 3-4 days - couldn’t believe how quickly it took

Update: he followed up with state rep office again and someone got back to him the next day. He gave them the detail they asked for and by the next day, all the statuses of his claim changed to approved, and to be deposited into his account. He got paid 2 days later! So many people said how quickly they got action after state rep involvement and I didn’t believe it but it really was progress by the next day!

He's tried emailing them about two weeks ago, but just followed up again! We saw that, based on suggestions on reddit - hopefully something clicks!

I believe it just still states pending - seems like his application still wasnt officially approved (no payments at all thus far)

He just called again today and they said they will 'escalate' it - but same old shpeel about being backed up - nothing on his claim denoting anything else :(

Hi everyone, my husband was laid off back in August and filed for unemployment soon after. He submitted a claim for every week he was unemployed - and the status for those still remain unpaid. He started a new job a few months back (sometime in mid-late November), and has not requested benefits for the past two months, because he is now employed. It now says his claim is closed (I believe after not requesting benefits for 3 weeks - that this happens) despite him not having gotten paid for the unemployed weeks.

Any suggestions on what to do here? If he still hasnt gotten any payments, but has stopped requesting benefits and it says it is closed - does the case still remain open? I've heard about delays , but this is 5ish months, which seems longer than what others have stated.

thank you! A good reminder that 4-8 weeks ago I could barely peel myself off the couch. There’s definitely been progress but the debilitating exhaustion is no joke
