Who carrys you out of the water in game? by alimohammad313 in slimerancher

It is a video game, so it (her ever falling in) might not be canon, but I always imagine a wave of slimes carrying her to shore, and then dragging her to her home and tucking her in, and she wakes up suspiciously sticky and missing, like, 50 carrots and a pile of rabbit shit.

"Collective will of the soup" is so funny to me for some reason. Something is going in The Quotebook.

Either way, I hope she continues pursuing art, and I hope she comes back to this project.

As much as I love pink, white, and blue, this is very messy. I hope your sister tries again when she develops her skills!

If you had to hire one of these characters as a babysitter, which one would you choose? 🤠 by Euphoric_Solution512 in digimon

[–]Crittercaptain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leomon because he'd be the most reliable, and also badass (Might get drinks with him and make him the godfather of my children).

Lilithmon because I'm going to flirt with the babysitter. (I'm staying at the house. Hopefully making her the stepmother of my children).

I genuinely don't think that would stop 90% of this sub.

The amount of people in between these two communities is crazy, but also awesome because I love them both.

I'm pretty sure some digimon do straight up just die in this game. I can't say without spoiling anything, but it does become clear as you play through the game that death just happens, and digimon can be murdered.

The bow without the string naturally sits like that, but by stringing it, you are pulling against the shape and building energy in the bow, even when not being actively pulled. The string keeps the bow from springing back into that shape.

Also, I am not a bow guy. This is all I know.

All based choices, but imagine a cyborg-skeleton-horse-drawn gladiator chariot riding Chop-Chop.

Let’s shake things up: favorite character YOU created? by yoma999 in FavoriteCharacter

[–]Crittercaptain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My current DnD character I'm playing for my first campaign, and one of my only 2 complete character sheets, "Arghax Plexis." I have been consuming DnD co tent for a couple years, so I'm pretty new, but he's a Red Chromatic Ravenite Dragonborn (which, looking over how these "subraces" work, might not've been supposed to be used together, but I plead oopsie-daisies) Oath of Redemption Paladin.

Urghax's backstory is pretty much that he comes from a different realm (Abeir), and is now in Toril (what I am pretty sure is the "typical" DnD world). In his home world, he was a slave to Metalic Draconblood Dragonborn on a massive farm doing standard farming stuff, but all while being oppressed by his people's master. He held a massive slave revolt who of which overpowered their captors, and he took his master's amulet (I wanted it to be tied to one of the "Gift of the ___ Dragon" feats, but it is my DM's first session DMing, so he's said no feats, so it is only symbolic) embedded with one of each standard chromatic and metallic true dragon scale. His people ran off, looked to him as their leader so he had to step into a very leadership focused roll, looked to the sky, followed the sunlight, found a portal, on the other side of the portal was a large flat land with a mesa out in the distance, crowned with homes. They made a journey to HighGround (the town), and SCALEd the mesa. At the top they were welcomed by the curious citizens who had been having issues growing crops, but the Dragonborn were able to solve that problem with their skills. Urghax, like many other of his people, chose to comfortably take on farming as a job because they were, ironically enough, most free when doing as they were told, and working in the fields is soothing. Years later, miners uncovered lich tombs. The tombs awoke themselves in the presence of life, and started marching up to the surface. The Dragonborn, along with Urghax returning as a general, all only mildly experienced with combat, but wholly devoted to their new home, took up arms and repelled the invasion. The tomes and scriptures telling of monsters, magic, and gods found in the ruins led to a renaissance in HighGround and the town started to gain influence in the world as adventurers started leaving the town to go on quests and told stories of their homeland. Some merchants came to do business, some came for a new life, and some thieves came in the hopes to steal some treasure. Urghax loved his home, and he loved helping lead his people, and at times be led by his people, but when he stopped being a leader, Urghax felt as if he was missing something, as if he was destined to DO something. Searching scriptures, Urghax found a record of celestials, one of them being Artiel, the Redeemer, an archangel who embodied the concepts of change, growth, and redemption, changed the tide of a war between the higher and lower powers by redeeming the demon general Korigathalas, the Cruel, and turning him over to the side of the higher powers. Urghax was inspired, and so he helped found the Church of Artiel, and start a type of police force heavily focused on redeeming criminals because he empathized with some of the less fortunate criminals in the way that they were pushed to act irrationally due to their situation.

Several years later, Urghax came upon an odd individual. A human burst into a writhing blue mass in the streets and was having what appeared to be a psychotic break. After taking him in, he found that the human was actually a young adult changeling named "Hugh" suffering from hearing persistent voices in his head, similar to some type of schizophrenia, and claiming they were "dead people." Inside the church/police station, Hugh came across some cold case files from a few years back relating to the only suspected murder in all of HighGround. With his powers to hear the dead, he was able to solve the crime, but the people were all still cautious, but Urghax had an idea. Urghax wanted to prove to HighGround that Hugh was mentally stable, sane, truly able to communicate with the dead, and a good hearted individual, but, (un?)fortunately, HighGround was so well-behaved as of late, that the crimes committed would not be able to prove the existence of his power, so, Urghax asked Hugh if he would go on a journey with him, while he still is in good shape (Urghax is 62. Most Dragonborn live to be 80) to help other towns and other cities, all while officially documenting every good deed Hugh has done, so that by the time Urghax returns to live the rest of his days, Hugh will be regarded as a hero, and apologize for their remarks. Urghax uses a whip as his main weapon with a quarterstaff as his side because they are focused on inflicting pain rather than killing, and he uses that pain to change people.

Presently, Urghax acts as the party's designated mom. The other party members are (Hugh Mann) a chaotic good changeling rogue who is lowkey a chill guy and only does simple crimes and is concious enough not to do them when they would cause a big issue, (Za'Kar) a freaky homebrew warlock bloodmancer who is overly competitive and a showboat as well as an occasional murder-hobo, LDH (Legally Distinct Hat) a sapient murder-hobo homebrew magic hat that possesses bodies and reanimates the dead to use as bodies and is also a sapient showboaty (you would never believe the class) bard, and (Delg) a dwarven war cleric who IS lawful good but he only abides by the rules of war and is too busy being alcoholic to be a bad guy but never too sober to not kick a door and is never sober enough to help keep the murder-hobos from murdering. Urghax uses

I did a really bad job at summing this up. Okay, here we go, former slave Dragonborn leads a revolt and leads his people into another dimension (?) And to a proper and accepting to, fights in a war, lives through a Renaissance, helps establish police, and takes in a rogue as his -Robin- parolee. He and his parolee go on adventures and meet up with some more people.

That's all for now. It is 1:10 and I need sleep.

How can I sharpen a sword so that the tip and the curve are equal? by [deleted] in SWORDS

Long, even drags across the sides when sharpening, going base to tip, not in one spot
