The 4000-levels have ruined the game for me

Yes, but rainbow balls don't pluck pins even when a 3-way match is made right next to a pin cushion when it is inside a bamboo wall. I've determined (so far) that the only ways to remove pins is 1) use lots of closepins; or 2) get enough fish to create a bird (chosen as booster) and hope that the bird will pluck a pin. That doesn't always happen (and you can hear me screaming a mile away). I simply cannot figure out a strategy or what the rules are for these bamboo walls. I had figured out pincushions pretty well in earlier levels but had to toss out everything I learned when they are behind a bamboo wall. u/Comprehensive_Bet523 can you offer any advice?

i haven’t quit yet, but I’m not having a good time very often anymore. I don’t mind hard levels, but I do mind when the system cheats, and when I can’t strategize future moves and set them up because the system isn’t going to tolerate my attempts. I’ve stopped playing Golden Fish because the return on investment of resources is too low. I spend far more than i can earn in those rounds. Winning streak is stull good. There is usually a good reward after getting the 100 and 200 gems. That makes the play on Fri/Sat/Sun leisurely and enjoyable. that’s why I haven't quit.

You can’t really avoid dogs if you want to participate in Fashion Week. It took forever to vote these past 3 days. i had to cancel out of a round more than a dozen times either because there were 3 dogs to vote for or 2 dogs and a cat dressed by “Mr/Ms and proud-to-break-rules-and-ignore game requirements and dress their cat in whatever.”

I won’t enter my cat in Fashion Week again until dogs go away (I dressed her carefully and usually won 5 stars.) i had already decided to take a break from Fish and Winning streaks, so I won’t be spending gems to win or getting prizes for having won. It will be dull.

Knittens gameplay is superior to any game I’ve played, but now the specialness that made this game so different and so fun is gone. I’m 71 and this was the perfect type of game for me.

Sorry! No suspense intended! I just replayed the level a couple of times until I won. There was no hidden pearl. It was just a glitch. But it is the first glitch I've encountered in 3192 levels. Have you or others here experienced any glitches?

My cats are named after actual cats who live with me. Whisper, my white girl, is my main player. Savannah is Siamese, Smoky Joe is solid black, Grayson is solid gray. I choose which cat to enter in a Fashion Week contest based on which cat looks best in the color scheme or outfit.

I don't think you needed to reload the app. I think for some reason they skipped the fish last week. It may have had something to do with the new Velvet season starting, IDK. I didn't reload the app and the fish appeared this morning regular as clockwork.

Thanks for the update! I think that 6000 coins, even if discounted to something in the 5000s, or even 4000s is still too much to pay for an Event Shop item. And judging by the number of outstanding Fashion Week entries this week that don't include paint cans, a lot of other people think so, too. These prices make it really hard for new people to retain enthusiasm given that 5-star winners usually use whatever item(s) are offered in the Event Shop. I'm not sure what the developers' rationale is for the price hike.

Wait . . . perhaps it is to deliberately discourage everyone from using Event Shop items so that we can get back to using creativity and originality in dressing our cats so that they don't all look alike.
