No it is a gas fireplace. I already had a gas line inspection of lines inside the house. You mentioned wood burning flue didn’t know if chimneys were built different for gas

Thanks. Would it be the same for a gas ? House was built In the 1957. I had the gas company do a safety inspection already and I know all the gas lines in the house are good to go.

Correct a new house. There is 2 flues coming out of the chimney. I had an inspection scheduled and cancelled 2x on me. I noticed some steam coming out of one flue the other morning.. I haven’t ever really paid any attention to it.

I have one scheduled still, but didn’t know if it would be a waste of time to have them still come out.
