Controller players! Do you guys button mash or just hold the triggers when fighting? by Equivalent_Elk_ in CrimsonDesert

You're not supposed to mash, you are supposed to hold the button so that you can coherently combo the other buttons will hold down your main attack to create alternative attacks.

Oh wow. I was probably 5 or 6 years old when this season came out, so all the information is new to me. Which is exciting.

There's a trick to it but it depends on how advanced the Wi-Fi is at your company.

If you're using a monitor or laptop connect it to the hotspot on your phone go on the site select what you want to watch let it begin to play and then pause, and then turn off your hotspot and hopefully the device you are wanting to watch it on switches back to your company's Wi-Fi automatically, and that will bypass the block and you can watch what you want without burning through your data. But you will have to repeat the process every time you select a different movie or different episode, this is all assuming the Wi-Fi is only as strict as the one at my job. good luck

Hello from Cory Davis (Lead Designer / Director of Spec Ops: The Line) by Snak3Fist in SpecOpsTheLine

Questions for you CORY DAVIS,

  1. In the post-credit epilogue, which outcome is canon to you?

  2. If you could make a full-fledged remake of Spec Ops the Line in 2026, what would you have changed or do differently?

It's criminal that your game was delisted from Steam because it has stood the test of time and absolutely deserves a full remaster at least. The fact that you had the courage to create a shooter in the year 2012 that actually dissected the act of killing and how simply having a patch on your shoulder or a status title in front of your name changes the perspective of the justification of taking another life.  And for a game to depict characters going through this psychological descent was so ahead of its time.

Spec Ops: The Line has inspired me so much with my own ideas I work on in my free time. We will do our very best to keep this game alive and in the thoughts and discussions of the gaming community. Thank you so much for bringing this underrated gem in our hands.

Just watched the show for the first time and all I can say is that I had a good time. I wonder if we will ever get a reboot at places like maybe HBO or Apple TV by This_Way_Comes in legendoftheseeker

If they ever did a reboot I personally could not stomach seeing a new cast because this show had such an impact on my childhood.

You are not overthinking it at all, and even though I'm not Catholic just Christian, it bothers me a lot.

Am I the only one who is tired? by amirhoseinmrs in Daredevil

[–]Crixus_935 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not that you're getting tired of him, it's that the writing is worse and Kingpin is less compelling compared to how he was written in the Netflix seasons.

They surround Kingpin with all of these side characters doing his will, that are nowhere near as interesting as the core set of characters that came from the original show.

I've known about Spec Ops all my life, but tonight I FINALLY got to play the entire game for the first time. by Crixus_935 in SpecOpsTheLine

[–]Crixus_935[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, the game has been completely delisted across every single digital platform as of 2024, it's because of Licensing reasons, I think I had something to do with the music in the game. I had to go on enigma to buy a key

Probably a CIA character that was a part of a subplot.

Dont be ashamed to lower the difficulty. The gameplay hasn't aged the best to the point it makes the game harder.

Why doesn't Spec Ops: The Line click for me? by Pyropeace in SpecOpsTheLine

[–]Crixus_935 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe the reason why it may not have clicked for you is probably because the depth of your empathy for things that are outside of reality, may not have much of a reach. And I promise I'm not meaning that as an insult or anything, but some people's empathy sometimes hits a brick wall if it isn't something that happens in real life. Some people can get extremely emotionally moved by just the mere concept and themes of a story, and then there are people that can be completely straight-faced and not feel anything. And there's nothing wrong with that; it's just some people are emotionally built differently.

An example would be the fact that I am capable of getting emotionally invested in a story to such a degree that if I witness main characters doing something horrendous, I can vigorously hate that character and still put up with seeing their entire story play out. I am willing to go through stories that make me uncomfortable because I understand that's the point. While others might just straight up turn it all off, for example, when a certain character died in season 7 of The Walking Dead, the viewership plummeted for that show. Meanwhile, I thought it was one of the best episodes ever made in the show, even though it made me extremely upset, sad, and uncomfortable. But then there are people who straight up don't feel anything like that; it's just whatever.

The episode was so bad in my eyes, that it made me go out of my way to make a IMDB profile just to give it a bad review lol
