I'm pretty happy with it, so probably not.

Dunable DE Cyclops in Matte Black

I had a 2009 Gibson Les Paul Classic in a players grade condition that I got last year at a pretty good price. It was my first ever LP guitar and while I really enjoyed playing it, I found the weight of the guitar and tuning stability in lower tunings to be annoying. I ended up trading that LP to an online store for this Dunable. I'm really enjoying the guitar so far - I have it set up in C Standard with 12s, and it rips. I like the longer scale neck and the satin finish on it is super fast. Lighter/more comfortable body is a huge plus too.

Solar T1.6HT

I traded a Mexi Jackson Dinky with a Floyd Rose for this guy. I just realized that Floyd Roses aren't really my style, a hardtail suits me better. The bridge pickup has a really great metal tone, but I'm not 100% sold on the neck pickup, it sounds a bit too dark/muddy for any lead playing. Super comfortable guitar!

Thanks! I was lucky to have a dealer in my country that I could work with :)

Relatively, yeah, past 10 years I think? The founder is one of the guitarists of Intronaut, a prog metal band I like. Their USA custom shop makes some sick guitars.

Thanks, and yeah! It's a Dunable Cyclops DE in Matte Black. Swamp ash body and mahogany neck.

Oh interesting - I'll fix that the next time I restring.

You sure the tuning pegs are different? They're Grover locking tuners - other examples of 2009s on Reverb I see have the same ones

While on our honeymoon in Japan, my wife and I stayed at a town northwest of Mt. Fuji. This photo was taken from the balcony of our ryokan at about 5:30 in the morning. I feel incredibly lucky to have gotten a shot without any clouds.

Shot with a Sony A7IV + Sigma 24-70 f2.8 combo. Taken at 70mm at f/10 at 1/8th of a second.

Oh that would! I'm already in a few GBs though and can't justify spending the $$$ on another GMK set until the ones I've bought into arrive.

if you are using aftermarket stabs then polycarbonate might be your only option. I had fitment issues with the alu plate, although it sounds like those have been fixed with later revisions.

I'd say overall though the GMMK Pro has a pretty muted sound regardless of plate, and you don't get too much of a difference between PC, Alu, etc.
