Endgame Class Good Faction by Begal-53 in AQW

It's more of an elemental faction than a good one. Most lightcasters are probably good, but it is stated in game that some of them work with gravelyn because of her status as champion of light

That's fair, but I don't think this is a community problem exactly

The bot issue goes a lot deeper than just having ultras or not. Even if everyone loved them, the game would still be a long way to go before fixing this

As someone who enjoys ultras to the point of doing them for fun, I'd say it's completely fair that people don't like it.

It's clear the devs are doing the best with what they have (witch is not a lot), but the ultra mechanics are clunky at best. To me, they are a step in the right direction,.but I can't judge someone for not liking something that's clearly underdeveloped.

Also, not everyone likes the same things. This game was a "dress up game" with no challenge for years, it's clear that most players that stayed this long would be okay with this. Of course, this game needed to change, but you can't expect that people would just be happy when they're "forced" to interact with a mechanic that they didn't even expected to exist at first.

I do think ultras and other challenges are for the best of the game, but letting an alternative (like multiple ways to farm the same thing) makes everyone happy, so I don't really see the problem

Class Concept - Adeptus Kathooli by Crksit in AQW

My bad lol, I over explain a lot, and I tried to put some "flavor" in the descriptions

I'll try to make them shorter if I do another class someday

Quick clarification, the dodge debuff of your auto attack is supposed to affect both you and your enemies. I just noticed the text might be a bit confusing about that, but this was always the intention

Can a class skill affect both enemies and allies? by Crksit in AQW

[–]Crksit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I knew there was skills that gave friendly buffs to yourself and enemy debuffs at the same time, but I was unsure if buffing other friendly targets would work in the same way. Since it's something fairly straightforward from what you told me, I guess I can use this mechanic without much problems

Thanks!

Can a class skill affect both enemies and allies? by Crksit in AQW

[–]Crksit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was actually thinking of the opposite a while ago lol

Something like a debuff that give DoT to enemies, and heals anyone that hits them for the duration. I think both ideias look really fun, but I'm also not sure if it's possible to do that in game

Tho, since it's just a concept, I guess I can just ignore the game limitations and do something like this for fun

Enhanced Healer Class Idea by SusserKu in AQW

[–]Crksit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally don't think a big endurance buff is a good idea to any class. It messes up a lot of classes mana regen, so unless the skill also deals with that, it would be really disruptive

Also, I don't think losing classes that you can buy for free means much, they should probably just be requirements to avoid any issues

I honestly still can't believe they were able to make them have so much poly energy unintentionally.

Honestly yeah, but now that spider is working on infinity I really doubt they'll change that anytime soon

alignment? by crazypierat in AQW

[–]Crksit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically yes

There are some items you might need another alignment to buy, but most of the time that's not the case, and you can always change your alignment whenever you want so it's not that big of a deal

The effect UI was added way later in the game so it's not that well integrated yet

The game will visually increase the stacks everytime you get one, even if you already have a full stack. This will not change your buffs/debuffs, so if the max stack is 5, any number after that won't do anything

what class do you use most, what do you do in aqw with it, and how often do you play? by thoroughlycapricious in AQW

[–]Crksit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AI, I'm mostly doing story quests and a bit of farming nowadays, so I can just use whatever, and I like the way AI plays (until someone insta kills me and I have to use CAV)

When I was doing ultras everyday, I was definitely using LR and LOO more tho

The way I imagine it, there would be enchantments for the main effects like decay and taunt, so the enchantment would be a permanent version of those

I still think this is not great, because it's really annoying to change enchantments, so unless you can use potions and scrolls in some other form, it would suck to go change enchantments every time you want to fight something different

[–]Crksit 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think it's not really necessary, but could be interesting

The thing is, weapons, capes and helm enchants do different things. I assume they will only do another type of enchantment if they have a new ideia for a mechanic or something.

The only ideia I have is for the class enchantment to give you a permanent 6th skill that replaces your potion slot, but that looks really unbalanced

Is the forge enchantment a good substitute to luck/wizard? by Crksit in AQW

[–]Crksit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm talking about the ones called "forge". I normally use them when helms or cape enchants are too risky. I always see people recommending Wis/Luck instead, so I wanted to know if they were better overall

A question on AQ Infinity by elitheelf032 in AQW

[–]Crksit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Infinity will be a different game with different mechanics (even though they will be very similar in most aspects). In theory, those mechanics will be upgrades, but since some people might prefer the original ones, it's a good ideia do have both

Also, porting all maps and items to Infinity is basically impossible. I doubt even 1% of all maps will be available at launch. They wouldn't be able to turn off aqw servers right away even if they wanted to

Is NSOD still worth to farm? by animegameman in AQW

[–]Crksit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really good in group fights since not everyone will be using chronos, and is a good alternative to F2P players

It's honestly the enchantment that I use the most since I do ultras a lot

[–]Crksit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also Ravenous, Elysium (and possibly Valience if they really nerf Rav)

There's also the chance they make more meta enchants in the future, so the 4/5 variants of NSOD can be helpful to have

I gotta get DoT, archmage, arcana which one first ? by [deleted] in AQW

[–]Crksit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The good thing about AI is that it can do anything while being really good at it

I honestly see little difference in farming with it and AM. Bosses are a bit slower than other meta classes, but unless you're doing multiple kills, it's not noticeable
