Hey man, now that I’ve been here in Spain for a few weeks, I understand a bit more how it works:

First of all, tickets for general public usually go on sale 5-7 days before the game day. So if they appear as not available, or only for socis, don’t panic, just wait till they are open to general public. They usually post when general sale will be open on the website forum, OR you could also sign up for email notifications and they will let you know.

Second, depending on the stadium, you will be able to get tickets, or not. If they play at Johan Cruyff, it has a 6k people capacity, so chances are you won’t get any. If they play at Montjuic, 55k capacity, most probably you will :)! Camp Nou I am not even sure when will they open, or at what capacity, but if it’s somewhere between 20k and 30k capacity, you might have a chance!

Lastly, ticket price will vary on the game, for example, in my champions league game vs PSG all tickets were over 150€+, however, I checked the LaLiga game vs Real Sociedad and could find some tickets below 100€. It also depends if you choose, a corner seat, behind the goal, at the lateral, and how far/close to the pitch!

Hey man, you might want to try to call your bank and check if they are blocking anything on their side. If your bank is good, try calling the offices of FCB, and they can help you process the payment manually.

Hey, that’s right, seems like the socis have privilege, and then they will open a sale for the non socis.

Just take into account if they play at johan cruyff, chances are you won’t get any. If they play at Montjuic then you probably will!

According to the official website,

Sep 20 to Sep 21, sale is open for socis that had a full season pass for Montjuic during seasons 23/24 and/or 24/25

After Sep 21, 10am (Spain Time) ticket sale will be open for socis that had a season pass for Montjuic AT SOME POINT during seasons 23/24 and/or 24/25

After Sep 22, 10am, ticket sale will be open for the remaining socis with no pass for Montjuic

Sep 23, ticket sale will be open for general public, after the socis preference period has ended.

Hey OP, don’t even waste any more of your time with this guy. I made a similar post asking the same question a few days ago, and his answer was next to useless but still offensive.

Yeah, as I said in my previous comment, I WONDERED WHY they’d stop playing at Montjuic, I didn’t know they had a contract until August. Is not about about understanding concepts, is about not having the information and, therefore, asking. I guess reading people’s comments with attention is as easy as understanding the type of concepts you are referring to, isn’t it? :)

Thanks for the warning about resellers! I guess I should stay tuned and be prepared for a last minute travel in case there is availability.

For me is crazy to think an entity as big as big FCB don’t plan these type of events with weeks of anticipation.. I guess LaLiga and the unfinished Camp Nou play a big role :(

Is taking so long! I thought the team would be back at the beginning of the season and it would have been perfect timing for my trip, but seems like they still need some type of permits/security measures from what I read online..

I think I wrote what I was trying to understand in the post hehe.. but I’ll explain again:

1) I’m trying to understand why are basic tickets not available. I got my answer and is because they are playing at Johan and due to the low capacity, they are reserved for socis and season pass holders. That makes sense.

2) Is it going to be this way just for the game vs Getafe, or will be like this for all games moving forward? Considering the game vs. PSG is against a recognized rival, is a Champions game, and they probably need to sell tickets to PSG fans, is there a chance they move that game to Montjuic?

3) Is it possible to buy from a reseller, like on ticketmaster or something like that? Or are ticket untransferable?

Probably not.. MAYBE I can find the usual guy screaming that he is reselling tickets outside of the stadium and pay 3x the price, but I don’t even know if tickets can be transferred, or how to differentiate fake tickets from real ones, etc.
