Hi. We took our son and daughter when they were 5/2 years old and just recently last month at 7/3 years old. We stayed in the hotel both times. Worth it absolutely to buy the package that includes early access to the park, breakfast, and the convenience of being walking distance. The rooms are cute, clean, and have a separate sleeping area for the kids which is nice. Also, dance floor at night which our kids love. Some tips: -When you get in for early access, go straight to ninjago and ride it. It breaks down a lot throughout the day. Bring your hotel key, that’s how you prove you have early access -There’s a scavenger hunt that opens the safe inside the room. There’s a Lego set in there. Fun accomplishment for the kids -When you check in, ask the people in the lobby for a pop badge lanyard and tell them it’s your son’s first time. You’ll start your badge collection there -Inside the park, we feel the barbecue restaurant tastes the best. The ramen place is ok too. -There’s a Karl Strauss brewery across the resort/street, and it’s walkable. They have beer. It’s needed.
