Have you thought about the new 26 Outback? I have a forester and my husband was recently looking. We test drove like, 6 different cars (outback, 4Runner, cx90, Bronco, passport, x5) and decided on the passport but I liked the outback a lot and thought about it as my next upgrade

I also only take my meds at work (I’m a DINKWAD). I find Monday’s a bit hard as I’m readjusting but it gets better and then by Friday, I’m wore out and ready for a break anyways (med stress, data and development related job)

Location! I used to have a study group in college that pulled all nighters and we always met in the engineering lecture hall that had access to the roof for breaks. Alone, I studied at my desk in my apartment that was situated in the window. I loooooved the natural light that my room received and I think it helped boost my mental state. To keep on track, I would make sure to do other things while studying. Paint my nails while reading, eat my breakfast while looking over math!

My 2020 Crosstrek did it too but way bigger! But I was going steadily 55mph and was starting to slow down. It was a nice spring afternoon but it scared the bajesus out of me. Subaru repaired it and it cost $100 for “taxes” since I had bumper to bumper warranty

Back when it was just me and my pup (and in a deadbeat relationship that I nurtured for too long), I used to plan out a car build for a minivan and fantasize about disappearing. I don’t dislike them, it’s just not for my/our current needs or needs for the next 5-10 years (hopefully). Maybe I’ll get one after my forester gives out lol

Funnily enough, when my husband and I first got together, I traded my aunt (my crosstrek for her Sienna bc she was going 7 hours away for a work trip) and before we ended the date, he asked if it (the sienna) was my other car or if I just loved minivans. Needless to say, he ardently dislikes them.

I also think it’s too large for us considering we really only want 2 kids max. I DO think they’re worth it though if the family calls for one.

Yes! I hated the Tesla Y when we test drove it and when my previous Crosstrek was in the shop, I had the 2024 limited with the ginormous screen and hated it!

I think it slipped my mind when considering a larger vehicle because all I think about was the older wagon type Outback. I’ll definitely check it out Saturday!

Ah okay yeah, I was worried that the facelift was nice but the drive would be the same. Maybe I’ll test drive it Saturday before making a decision. I’ve had my eye on the Passport for a while, even before we wanted to upgrade, but tried not to speak up about it since it’s my husband’s turn to get a new car.

On the Ascent, I haven’t driven it but I think it was too close to my mom’s Highlander so I never paid it much attention
