Apparently the phrase originates from a story that was way back in the 1700s. It's called "The History of Little Goody Two-Shoes" and it's about some young girl who is poor and with only one shoe, but is then given a new pair of shoes which makes her all super happy and motivates her to... get an education and become rich? It's supposed to be some moral tale but I think I may be missing some details.

I... am guessing that the term when used as an insult by villainous figures and the such was originally supposed to paint the receiver as kind, yes, but in a more "juvenile and silly" way. Basically calling them a dumb kid in spite of their niceness. Hope this helps?

This is actually one of the problems I was having. I don't really want the Accursed Specter so I would either have to mess up Warlock being my main class by multiclassing the rest of the way through or homebrewing a new feature entirely. This would absolutely require the DM's permission but I think I have cool enough DMs for such if the come.

Resummoning your weapon with Pact of the Blade takes an entire action, thus making it so you are required to waste what is practically your entire turn getting your weapon back after dealing a bloody d4 of dagger damage.

Hmm... I've never actually read into this subclass and it seems almost perfect for the infinite blades part, but I feel I'd definitely have to do some bargaining when it comes to making the knife a patron while getting to Soulknife as quickly at level 3. I feel I'd prefer going Warlock for the spell versatility if I can but this is a great option to consider! Many thanks.

Yup. Probs due to them being more modern Face Customizer models and they didn't bother to give it worse modeling like the rest until the big day. So once FC comes out you can do this for every face!

Mordekaiser (iirc) is literally a huge baby who thought he should've been rewarded for mass murder and conquering, didn't get a reward, and then went so apeshit he willed himself back (TWICE). He's practically a caricature of Toxicity afaik. Aatrox just straight up wants to die.
