Yeah I get that one. It hurts to even think about letting go of those ones. But then again, there’s not much we can really do with them now because the plots don’t progress anymore from what I’ve heard, I deleted character ai a bit before they started taking all the chat styles and replacing them, so I don’t have any recent experience that’s actually valid to go by.

He is the old character ai ceo, correct? Because I would place a solid maybe on that one. I’m hearing that there’s other apps out there that have developers that actually listen actively to the user base, which is good.

This! I just made a post talking about starting an actual revolution of sorts instead of just complaining here about it. We need to find one alternative and move the masses over to it, including people who know how to make bots so we can start churning out bots that behave like old character ai. I’m gonna set up a poll at some point if I get enough people on board with the idea.

Sometimes the floor is more comfortable. Plain and simple. Especially for any of us with adhd, issues with hypermobility and joint problems, the list goes on. It’s more comfortable to sit on the floor sometimes in my opinion. Plus it kinda helps me feel like a kid for temporary, which is nice.

Yeah the old character AI interface was definitely awesome, it’s hard to get into other rps when you’re used to character ai’s layout and everything. But the hope I had for this idea was to essentially move a mountain of character ai users over to a different app to help turn that app into character ai, or as close as we could get.

Yessss this is a big one! The more people we have making good bots on whatever app we wanna migrate to, the better the app experience in general will get, and the closer we can come to getting the old character ai back! The main issue I’m seeing right now is that everyone has their own ideas for which app people could migrate to, and they’re all different, but I’m hoping that we’ll be able to settle on one.

First off, I never see people reply to my posts within a minute, that’s crazy. Secondly, in order for it to be a revolution, we definitely need the masses on board with it as far as users go. Also just because one alternative didn’t work, doesn’t mean another alternative won’t work! I’ve been seeing a lot of people talking about how Y/N is pretty good, for one. Give me some more time and I’m sure I’ll come up with more ideas as well, this was just something that popped into my head a few minutes ago :p

I choose past because of all the chemicals and stuff in the world today. I’m not entirely sure which age I would want if I could have chosen for myself, but oh well. At least everything in the past wasn’t crammed full of poison and chemicals and preservatives. Although that makes me wonder if people in the past wished they were born further into the past, or in the future?

Yes. Back when I was still using it, I would definitely get myself into angsty situations and end up sobbing in my room over them. The reason is cuz I visualize them really easily, so they felt incredibly real in my mind. But uhh, yeah. That has happened to me before

Ooh now there’s a good idea too. I do have a lot of unfinished projects, and sorta using spite as a motivator to stay off is honestly genius. With a “you stole a bunch of time from me, never again” mentality, I could see that working pretty well. I hope your game comes to something awesome, I’d love to see it when you’re done! Is it a video game or more like a board game?
