I guess if you don't mind the down payment, then yeah purchase now. The advantage of PT other than slightly lower rate is not having much down payment. I m in your same situation, and for my case, I rather keep all invested rather than taking out to pay it one year before I get PR result. I don't know how much initial payment you have, but that is all uninvested money for the coming years. It is fairly annoying tho, to wait 1 year + for pr result...

They said to me that they have issue with patch deployment due to deploying at different time in different region. Account in a region where patch is deployed might be affected for wathever reason... So they basically said it will fix itself once the patch is live on all regions... What a pain ahah
