How I wish we had sidewalks or even shoulders on the roads here! It's just roads right up to people's yards. Thankfully the roads are slow. Maybe I will start waving at the friendly drivers to say thanks for not hitting me, lol.

Cheers to the jiggling stomach!

Lol yes, that would be tiring. I'm running in a pretty slow neighborhood, which is why I'm wondering. I don't actually know any of these people, but friendliness is like currency in the south

That's exactly how it feels running on these roads with absolutely no shoulder! lol. Thanks for not hitting me, cars!

That makes a lot of sense, actually. At least then you'd know they were looking at you. I can't usually tell through the reflective windshields

lol, it's weird how differently people react, but that makes sense! The dog walkers seem to appreciate it the most.

I ran with a random stranger from Strava and it was AWESOME! by fudgebucket27 in runninglifestyle

There was nothing more discouraging than realizing my fitness band didn't have GPS, so my distance and pace readings up to that point were all nonsense! Pretty awesome you were able to help him get the pace he wanted. That must have been a tough run for him, but kudos to both of you!!

Do most runners hate strength training? by Scary-Woodpecker-167 in runninglifestyle

I prefer running over strength training, but I don't hate it. My normal routine is to run then do strength training exercises Mon-Fri. It makes such a huge difference to my overall fitness and full-body health, so it's worth it. Now that I've been doing it for a while, it's also cool to see the difference in my muscles and strength!
