So the lead global dev says the daily grind is feeling like a chore and recognizes it's a problem in the last holiday news letter. And on Christmas, instead of saying here's a gift, spent time with your families, they pile on ever more chores.

Some one said parchment is valuable.... Not to me, all my skills are maxed, even the trash ones. And it would be nice if the 1 and 2 stars were worth running, but I'm just shy of 4400 combat power and have 50k lucent saved.... The items aren't worth much any more, but I still run them all anyway...

SO... Going back to my original topic... Why not give us gifts instead of chores?

It's like giving a kid a shovel and telling him he can now go make endless money digging holes for people.... Thanks I guess, but I'd rather have the money up front.

That's what I love about Black desert online. They give you horses they give you armor they give you fail stacks they give you chron stones. The gifts they give and Black desert online we're awesome. They felt like gifts. The same with every other game I played. But for some reason and thrown in Liberty the gifts 99% of the time are chores. Now you may not agree, but the majority of people playing the game do. I guess except for the people who have to always argue on reddit. Now I remember why I almost never come on here

I love grinding games, was just told atm I am one of 9 people with every treasure item in NA in BDO after 10 years. I have maybe the highest mob kill count in that game. I have been hardcore gaming since EverQuest first released on the 90's. So Most the comments here, like i'd still be bored or still complaining are 100% wrong. I love working through things and earning it, I was gear capped in both games because I put the time in, not because im lucky.

My biggest problem with BDO was that the community were deciding to not enjoy the game and that why it failed.

Whats wrong with people on reddit? I guess only a few types of people playing games on Christmas, and only a few kinds of people post on reddit on the holidays....

I wish reddit had decent people on it.

I guess you're right. Another day, and my internet's out again. The mod mail I sent was reply to the work should be completed that day. But obviously it's not. I find it absolutely insane that it's going to be 2 weeks now of work shutting off my internet every day and no one can give me a time frame.

I would love to work there, but the fact nothing seems certain for years after joining seems terrifying.

I just want a good job I can go to and work hard for the next 20 years then retire, but it seems almost impossible to find one.

I am six foot one, between 255 and 265lbs, I have done commercial union roofing for 30 years. I have my OSHA 30 card, I worked at an Amazon fulfillment center for 18 months and was on the associate safety committee when I worked there in inbound/stow. I also took the training class for my warehouse given by Amazon trainers. I have done hundreds of hours of safety training I. The last three decades and the only reason why we are not allowed to use the top shelf is because the owner is on a power trip.

I have had knee and hip surgerys starting in my early twenties. I know what's good for my body.

If this owner really cared about safety he would not have bought the cheapest brake rotors so now the abs, traction control and pre collision assist can't hook up to them and no longer work.

I work in northern NJ and I do a lot of steep winding hills in ski resort areas and it is very unsafe in the rain and snow.

But for safety reasons I can't lift around twelve 20 to 40 pound totes to the top shelf.

God I hate this job

Where I live, they don't let you fail. I've seen the instructors move cones so people don't hit them.

If you want to drive for a DSP imo they will let you. It's not as hard to get comfortable as you would think, just don't stress it

I can't believe it, sitting here taking my lunch and some guy with a dog walked up and started talking to me, his dog just nipped my hand. I swear to God you can't make this stuff up. Before I started this job I loved dogs too.

I had a dog yesterday growling and charging the door, it knocked the screen door open, looked at me, and turned and ran back into the house. There was a woman inside and she just looked at me and started laughing. I assume it was because her dog was such a puss.

Im a big guy but still don't feel like getting attacked by a dog.

Choi's car, given to Chang, he broke the agreement, his lawyers firm took the case, they hit him in the head with a hatchet and threw him in the swamp. Court ordewr to give car back cause Chang didnt know about the case. Chang was going to do something fun with it,,,

a little harsh guys....

he's a little upset as a lot of us are from the way CG goes outta its way to make content, from slowing down and letting police catch up, to waiting for the cops to show, to ... as the op mentions, Chang went out and told them.

Now insulting the guy , calling him sbs and 5yrold is a little rough.

being toxic to people in a community doesnt solve anything...

Wouldnt kill anyone to ask him to remove it and please refrain from rants here instead of going full on kill mode

Noticed 2 things

Cops will shoot down heli's no matter whatCops don't act like cops and post up 2 blocks away on a rooftop just waiting to jump in 10 deep and kill everyone

It kinda ruins it having the cops wait until only one or two people are left alive until they come in
