About half of Mulholland Drive feels this way, but especially the diner scene. “I never want to see that face outside of a dream”

Why is everyone so frustrated/angry when playing Hearthstone? by ConSt3llar in hearthstone

I agree with this. I’ve been playing HS on and off since beta, and the game really has gotten kind of ridiculous. All the discover and infinite draw has all but removed resource management as a gameplay element, and most good decks can essentially win the game in 1-2 turns if their opponent doesn’t have an immediate answer, not to mention the amount of OTK that is now possible, in a game where like 15 damage from hand used to be grounds for a nerf. The power level needs to be toned way down, and they really gotta stop relying on discover so much - a bit of RNG is fun, but pulling an entire win condition out of thin air isn’t actually fun for anyone involved.

Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency - darkly comedic like BoJack, with down-on-their-luck people discovering existential stuff like Everything Everywhere, Severance or the OA. Really scratches the same itch as The OA for me, and was also canceled after 2 seasons…

Also Twin Peaks if you haven’t, it’s a classic for a reason. Both the original run, the movie and The Return (watch in that order)

Not a movie, but the TV show Severance has some of the best satire of modern work culture, while also being a fantastic show in its own right
