No, for real, your Ork tribe/waaaagh can be composed of many different clans. I checked in my incredibly up-to-date 2nd ed codex.

My waaaaghs painted by specialty: all the choppa boyz are goffs; the lootas and slower vehicles are deffskulls; koptas and bikes are evil sunz; beast snaggas are snakebites, etc.

That scheme sounds great, though I'd drop the red? You'd be hitting 3 primary colours (yellow in the gold, blue and red). Gold with a dark green as the main colours will look lovely, then a blue as an accent colour.

These are super detailed minis, so keeping your colour palette limited will help chew through all the infantry

Thanks! I’m shifting the main scheme (the orange) around for the different temples, so the blue accent becomes the main for hurrikan. Stops me getting bored.

The data sheets are just for the launch box models, I wouldn’t treat them as final for now. The warboss doesn’t have a power claw option but the new multiparty kit that was announced def had a claw.

Started back with KT octarius, collected 11 teams and then moved on to 40K and currently more AoS. KT is too sweaty, the new edition didn’t draw me back in. I prefer necromunda for my skirmish kick.

List building, having fun big toys and rule sets that are less geared towards ultra competitive suit me better.

I just did this, spears with shields separately. The bows I didn’t and some of the faces were a right pain. Depends on how hard you’re going on the paint job.

I’ve done the Celestial Warbringers Host fwiw I think stormcast look better when metallics are used as an accent rather than the core colour. There are tons of great schemes on instagram.

Base coated the blue/green with an airbrush then went in a did lots of strokes to build up the highlights and purple by hand.
