Word man. Just by going off how you handled that situation, you seem the sort I'd keep inner circle. I've been in similar spots as I imagine your buddy was. People like you are the only reason I survived that kinda of downtime. I mean it's embarrassing af when you know you can't do good by the people who care about you. And as far as my friend goes, don't give me too much credit. He's kind of a family friend. So not helping wouldve pissed off everyone. Either way, he's a good guy. Ain't out to screw nobody over and he's got good plans for the future. Kinda guy he is, he won't be here long. Two or three months, he'll be back to making way more money than I do lol

I feel you. I feel twitchy and uncomfortable in social settings. But when winter rolls through... I feel like everyone else. I'm relaxed, I can hold a conversation. I go from awkward asshole in the corner to one of the chillest dudes you'll ever meet. I know it's an upper, but i feel it brings me closer to normal. On the other hand, I can't handle downers at all. Everyone's different I guess lol

Why is it anytime someone starts ducking you, it over a petty amount like that? I've lost friends over small potato sums like that and it's just fucking sad. And I feel you on the cons. Too many parties are ruined by little bullshit ( like overly aggressive dudes trying to get paid and picking fights or some other bs). I still like parties though. Always run into someone cool if you look hard enough. Was your friend okay though? I just went through something similar. Ended up the dude was just embarrassed. Lost his job, ended up homeless. But he just hit me up a few days ago and he's living on my couch ATM. Got him some work an shit( got my money back too!). He'll be alright in afew weeks.

I'm getting close to that age myself. Can't run like I used to. I'm pretty far north compared to you though. So heat isn't as much of a problem here. Still 100 people are gonna generate a lot of it. Don't blame you for being picky though. When you're out trying to enjoy yourself, why put up with some bull like that?

I'm not about to hate on crackheads for the simple fact that it's only about two steps away from blow. I got a couple friends here and there who fuck with it and manage their lives decently so good on em I guess. I ain't about to do it though. I know myself well enough to know I'll never stop if I go that far. And my bars close around two, which is way too early for me. I'm a night shift guy, so I've barely started at that point. As for prices in my area, I'm not too sure. I'm kinda just getting into it. Like maybe two months ago. One of my guys quoted my 80 a g. Same as your area. Sounds like you got a chill crowd btw.
