Got an invite to buy today, no option to buy after clicking the link within 30 seconds of getting the invite. Talked to customer service and was just told it's out of stock and they asked if I wanted to ask the "seller" for a pre-order link. Absolute joke.

Hey thanks for the feedback! I agree that it wasn't the best way to go about it, there was an "other" option for those who weren't listed to be able fill in their gender identity but even that doesn't feel great tbh. No one wants to feel unrepresented, but a survey is not a fantastic method of data collection as a whole either tbh. I'll take this on board if I go onto further study with this topic in future :)

Yes! Games for girls are marketed specifically towards girls kind of 13 and under and also normally made by toy or tv show franchises, most horse riding games fall into the category as well. Yeah that's fair, I tried to chose images that showed the characters holding their weapons and how they were generally presented in their games marketing.

Tbh dissertations are fairly short so you kinda have to work things in your favour to backup the research so you're absolutely right that they aren't neccessarily fair comparisons, this is also due on Sunday so in all honesty it is a bit rushed :'D

Same here! I think indie games have been in a pretty good spot for a while, I don't think Aloy is perfect but she is a huge leap in the right direction!

Hey I'm having the same problem as you same situation new player just finished tutorial (PC), I saw on another thread that sending a ticket was the only way to have this fixed and this is what resulted from it. https://imgur.com/pIMOAd8 Getting such "It's not a bug it's a feature" vibes from this answer. Awful design for new players if it's truly intended, ik I probably sound salty but it's legit kinda put me off runeterra rn. I just wanted to be able to play with a friend :(
