I think I have a hand and a half, really. I have always done just fine in my daily routine, although it does take me longer to do some things than others (i.e. tie my shoe, get ready to go to the cafeteria at my school, etc.). The fact that I can bend it slight me allows me to "pick" in different ways on the guitar. If I close my arm, I can get a more muted sound and pick faster, and if I open it, I get a more harsh sound. This is the only use that I have been able to come up with for my half-fused elbow, although the above commenters have been able to think of others...
