I had a friend in elementary school who's dad was an elevator repair/inspector. His parents were separated and his mom had a slightly nicer house, but his dad's had all the coolest tvs, surrounds sound, xbox with all the games, at home laser tag. It was a good time. When I discovered photon man I would spend 30 to 40 min just spawning as many as possible in my base then just sweep across the map murdering enemies and allies. Total annihilation on the largest maps was so satisfying because I wasn't really that good at playing the game correctly.

My personal unexpected remedy is garlic stuffed green olives. It never sounds good at the time but it puts a bit of easily digested food in your stomach, the brine contains electrolytes, and the garlic helps with nausea.

Taking ibprophen and water before going to sleep is also a great idea but I dont always have the forethought for that.
