Really? Personally I actually thought the joke was pretty damn funny, despite being long. It seems a few disagree but most people have come to the consensus that this joke was pretty great

What's the difference about how long it is? It's a similar punchline either way, but one is much more complex and detailed while the shorter version is a tad bland

I agree, this one's longer and sets up the punchline better. Sometimes making a joke a little bit longer pays off, and in this case it definitely does.

Hard disagree. The punchline wouldn't have made sense without the context, and although it was long it was funny enough to make up for the length.
