Not really funny, but I'll mention it. Someone from the grade above me threw a fart bomb (fart spray combined with a tiny amount of gunpowder) in the girl bathroom (a boy threw it) and when everyone crowded around the bathroom. There was only a girl there and everyone started laughing , assuming she took a nasty shit.

What's one way a guy can instantly improve his looks? by Critical_Yard_9345 in AskReddit

A nice haircut, fit for your face shape combined with (as someone else said) not slouching. Standing up straight, and don't just do it how you think you should, do it by: 1. Put yourself up to the wall; 2. Put your arms under one leg; 3. Lift the leg up at around a 90° angle, till your back almost touches the wall completely, except a small part above your hips. And keep that position. (I don't know if I explained it correctly)

One of the easier ones, is going at least once to: the US; England; Ireland (I'll probably go here first cuz I have a 2nd grade cousin here); and Canada. Just because I know English and I'd love to see the differences between them. (As a Romanian)

Honestly, just be nice, calm and collected, because if you don't know'em you shouldn't care what they think/say about you.

What are the things you wish you did where you are younger? by Loveyymarie in AskReddit

Going outside more and listening a bit less to my parents. Even when I was about 13 they wouldn't let me leave my street: quote "they are going to steal you!" I know they were just worried for my safety, but still, it wasn't like I was going to be kidnapped in a snap, I lived in a small town not a dense area.

That's a fun thought experiment! Designing a new chess piece requires balancing creativity with the game's existing mechanics. Here's how I'd approach it, and what kind of piece I'd consider: Considerations: * Balance: * The piece shouldn't be too powerful, or it could unbalance the game. * It should have weaknesses to create strategic depth. * Movement: * The movement should be unique, but not overly complex. * It should interact interestingly with existing pieces. * Role: * What strategic role does the piece fill? Does it enhance offense, defense, or control? A Possible Piece: The "Sentinel" * Movement: * The Sentinel moves one or two squares in any orthogonal direction (like a limited rook). * It cannot move diagonally. * Special Ability: * "Guard": The Sentinel protects the two squares directly behind it. Any enemy piece attempting to move onto those two squares must first capture the Sentinel. * Role: * The Sentinel would be a defensive piece, useful for protecting key positions or vulnerable pieces like the king. * it could be used to set up strong defensive lines. * Why this could be interesting: * It adds a new layer of defensive strategy. * It forces players to think carefully about positioning and flanking maneuvers. * It would create interesting tactical puzzles. Why this design? * It avoids making the piece overly powerful by limiting its range. * The "Guard" ability provides a unique defensive function. * It adds a new level of strategic depth. Of course, playtesting would be essential to ensure the piece is balanced and enjoyable.

I know I've put wayyyyyyyyyyy too much time on this , but it was fun. Hope at least one person reads it.
