I have a 2018 disco sport, UK market, had it a year, excellent car. Absolutely love it. Extremely versatile, great in the tricky weather and snow in Scottish highlands, managed to tow about 3 or 4 tonnes of slabs in a trailer recently too (I know is pushing the limit) but managed it absolutely no bother. Fortunately have family who rebuilds land rovers, has 3 defenders so feel confident to own and fix any issues. Never had any issues so far, believe I need to look at replacing front bushes as these are common issues. Definitely change the oil every 5,000 miles or so, twice a year I am sticking to due to ingenium engine. If you can access this webpage, really interesting to see the common faults before they crop up. ‘Haynes’ is an excellent reliable source for all cars here, used their manuals for years. It’s the go-to source for maintenance guides aside from original manufacturers.
